Press Release: Immediate Cessation of Military Repression in Myanmar

For Immediate Release

Democracy must be restored, immediate cessation of brutality and violence for healthcare professionals and civilians, and release of Aung San Suu Kyi and other leaders

We, the citizens from Malaysia, are horrified by the escalating senseless bloodshed committed by the military junta against peaceful Myanmar citizens.

We urged world leaders, ASEAN leaders, business organizations, media(s), religious bodies, NGOs, youth leaders etc to collectively urged the military junta to restrain from their senseless acts and return to the negotiation table for reconciliation before it reaches a point of no-return.

We called for an immediate cessation of military brutality and violence against healthcare professionals and peaceful civilian protestors.

We stand with the people of Myanmar in calling for an immediate end to military repression, the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and other leaders, and the restoration of democracy.
